Community at the Market

The Cochrane Farmers’ Market welcomes innovative ideas from community groups or businesses which would provide us with an opportunity to collaborate with partners in the Cochrane community.

We look for creative “win-win” scenarios that enhance the market experience.

Previous partnerships have allowed us to provide “Mat to Market” yoga sessions, Chef at the Market tours, as well as complimentary dog-sitting for our customers.

The Cochrane Farmers’ Market supports not-for-profit and community groups by inviting them to participate in the market free of charge. We endeavour to provide space for as many groups as possible during the season. Community Group Guidelines and application form is available for download on the Vendor page.

The market is open to all forms of street entertainment including, but not limited to: dance, street theater, spoken word, juggling, balloon twisting, magic and music of all kinds! There is no cost for busking at the Cochrane Farmers’ Market, however; all buskers must fill out an application form and be approved prior to attendance.
