The Cochrane Environmental Action Committee (CEAC) sponsors and operates the Cochrane Farmers’ Market. The market is run entirely by CEAC volunteers, and proceeds from the market are used to support CEAC in its efforts to make Cochrane a more environmentally aware and active community.

The Cochrane Farmers’ Market is proud to be an Alberta Approved Farmers’ Market.

The outdoor ‘Market at the Ranche’ is the original market, established in 1998. In 2020 the market relocated to the SLS Centre becoming the ‘Market by the Bow’.  The Cochrane Farmers’ Market is celebrating 25 years of operation in 2023.

In the past few years we have added three new market series – the Spring Market, the Cochrane Street Market (currently paused) and the Cochrane Christmas Farmers’ Market. Customers can now enjoy shopping at the market throughout the year!
