The Cochrane Farmers’ Market would not exist without our volunteers – they are at the heart of our market which is organized and run entirely by volunteers.

We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us; there are many ways you can get involved depending on your time, talent and interests. If you would like to join our market team, please fill out a registration form below.

Volunteer Registration

Thank you for your interest in registering to volunteer at the Cochrane Farmers’ Market!
Please fill our registration form so we can best match your interest and availability with our needs.
REGISTER

We are looking for volunteers to help us operate our summer market. We have the several opportunities available at our summer market which runs every Saturday from June 1 until September 28.

Market Set Up (7:30 – 9:00am):

Assist with the set up of canopies, tables, parking control, signage and other gear belong to the farmers’ market.

Front Line Volunteer – Morning Shift (8:45 – 11:30am) / Afternoon Shift (11:30am – 2:15pm):

Assist with crowd management by greeting, informing, and directing customers, regulating entrances & exits, as well as other general tasks to assist vendors and the market manager. There are two shifts – sign up for one or stay for the day and select both.

Market Take Down (1:30 – 3:00pm):

Assist with the take down of canopies, tables, parking control, signage and other gear belonging to the farmers’ market.

We are looking for volunteers to help us with our Christmas Market that runs from December 13-15.
 Friday. December 13, 2024 
Vendor Check In & Set Up (5:45 PM – 10:00 PM)
Volunteers will assist with vendor set-up by greeting, informing, and directing vendors, monitoring designated vendor entrances, and assist with other general tasks to support the market manager.
Saturday. December 14, 2024
Vendor Check In & Set Up (6:45 AM – 10:00 AM)
Volunteers will assist with vendor set-up by greeting, informing, and directing vendors, monitoring designated vendor entrances, and assist with other general tasks to support the market manager.
Welcome & Market Monitor (9:45 AM – 1:00 PM)
Volunteers will assist with customer management by greeting, informing, and directing customers, monitoring customer flow, as well as other general tasks to assist vendors and the market manager.
Welcome & Market Monitor (1:00 PM – 4:15 PM)
Volunteers will assist with customer management by greeting, informing, and directing customers, monitoring customer flow, as well as other general tasks to assist vendors and the market manager.
